The old is being made new again with the revitalization of The McCorkle Building on Court Street in Florence, Alabama. Established in 1948, the historical building is seeing a new era of contemporary living, restaurant innovation, and local shopping in the downtown area—and it will be joining the ranks of the ever-growing popular spots with the addition of 306 Barbecue & Back Alley Sports Bar and McCorkle Lofts. Just a short walk away from the University of North Alabama, students, young professionals, and families alike will enjoy the new additions to 322 N. Court Street. While the restaurant is currently under construction, 306 Barbecue will be ready for business at the first of the new year and will serve items such as pulled pork, ribs, chicken, homemade sides and fresh vegetables.
